Viagra From Trusted Online Pharmacy

Cheap Viagra

Anyone who has used Viagra knows that the medication is expensive; however, for some men it is necessary in order for them to have a normal sexual relationship with their spouse or partner. Since most insurance companies do not cover this medication, cost becomes an issue of great concern. Sometimes it can be a difficult decision to make, especially when weighing the purchase of Viagra against being able to pay other bills, and for those on a fixed income, this can be difficult. After all, simply because one is retired does not mean they no longer want to have a sexual relationship. They have retired from work, not from life.

What is the answer to the dilemma? Where does one find cheap Viagra? The most obvious place is the Internet where Canadian pharmacies have been selling an abundant amount of medications at prices that are sometimes half of what pharmacies charge in the United States. Certainly, the United States government and the pharmaceutical companies are not happy with this and have attempted to block the sale of Canadian sales of drugs to the United States, but now, this has not succeeded. When ordering over the Internet, and even with cheap Viagra, keep in mind that the more you order at a time, the less it is going to cost you for the long term. For example, purchasing a quantity of ten is going to be more expensive per pill than purchasing a quantity of one hundred. Certainly, that sounds like a lot of pills for something that you only take when you want to have a sexual relations, but the overall savings per pill can be as much as two dollars. Since you are also going to pay shipping, its advisable to purchase as much as you can afford so that you dont have to order as often.

For those who are hesitant about ordering Generic Viagra online, the same pharmacies that advertise on line usually have a phone number that you can use to call in your order. Of course, you can also fax it as well, especially when your first order is placed since they will more than likely need your doctor to fax the prescription. Again, to save yourself money on shipping, order as much as you can afford each time, even if it may be more than you think youll need for a month or even two.

If you really dont want to order online or deal with the Canadian pharmacies, you will find someone wholesale drug manufacturers who will sell to the public, and the cheapest way is to purchase the generic instead of name brand. In many cases, the cost saves can be as much as 50-75% when purchasing the Rx generic brand. For those who are not ordinarily prone to purchase generic brands, they contain the same ingredients as name brand but are offered at a lower price. Though this is a product used for sexual function, the generic version will still do the same job as the name brand, so there is no need for you to pay the higher price for name brand.

Understanding The Cost Of Prescription Drugs

2:09 pm by admin. Filed under: Pharmacy Jobs

The Internet has revolutionized a consumer’s ability to research personal health issues and independently discover the available options of finding more affordable ways of obtaining his or her medications.

For the millions of Americans who have prescription drug plans as part of their health insurance, the actual cost of medications is somewhat obscured by the co-payment–usually a nominal fee compared to the actual cost of the drug.

But for the millions of Americans who don’t have access to prescription coverage, who must pay for their medications out of pocket, there is a crucial piece of knowledge that can save them a lot of money: The cost of prescription drugs varies from pharmacy to pharmacy. And in many cases, Internet-based pharmacies can offer even lower costs. For example, a recent survey showed that Walgreens was selling Plavix (75 mg, 90 tablets) for $405.09. SmartChoiceDrugstore.com sold the exact same drug and quantity for $353.49.

According to data collected by SmartChoice, Americans pay more for their prescription drugs than people in other countries. The reason is that pharmaceutical manufacturers sell at much higher prices to U.S. wholesale companies because they have no restrictions on pricing. Higher costs are also attributed to pharmaceutical companies spending hundreds of millions of dollars each year in sales and marketing people to push their medications on the U.S. public and doctors who prescribe the medications.

Just like online retailers from whom you’d buy books, appliances or even a car, Internet pharmacies are able to offer lower prices because of lower overhead. With no storefront (and accordant costs) to maintain, there’s less of a markup on the merchandise. The medication you receive from Internet pharmacies such as SmartChoice is identical to the medicines found at a neighborhood or chain drugstore. The only difference is what you pay. And if you take several different medications, the savings can be substantial.

At SmartChoiceDrugstore.com, each and every order is filled by a registered and licensed pharmacist. Like any U.S. pharmacy, SmartChoiceDrugstore.com undergoes rigorous governmental inspections regularly. The site is a full-service pharmacy that has access to all medications that any other pharmacy would have. And like traditional pharmacies, there are policies and procedures in place to validate prescriptions.

Three Factors that Cause Hair Loss

Three Factors that Cause Hair Loss

Most of us have heard that too much hat-wearing or poor circulation to the scalp can cause hair loss. Theses causes all have been proven to be myths, and the real causes of hair loss are stress, health, and hormones.

Stress can cause your hair to literally fall out. Usually the hair loss occurs 3 months after you`ve gone through the stressful period. Then you will need another 3 months after you begin losing hair for your hair growth to begin again ( if the stress has been diffused ). Your bodies built in healing process considers your emotional problem so important, that it ignores your hair putting it into a resting phase. This resting phase is known as Telogen Effluvium. Stress can also trigger genetic hair loss. If your already losing hair stress will cause you to lose hair even faster. So stress plays a big role in hair loss, keep your blood pressure down!

Health is also a factor in hair loss. Damaged blood vessel linings can inhibit your hair growth. This is because these blood vessel linings normaly produce endothelium-derived relaxing factor (E.D.R.F.) or nitric oxide (N.O.). Studies also show that there is a strong relationship between people with heart disease experienceing hair loss. Also, diabetics have a higher risk of experiencing hair loss.

Lastly, male hormones called dihydrotestosterone (DHT) is known to be the most common reason for male pattern hair loss. DHT is produced from testosterone which is produced by the enzyme 5-apha reductase. DHT has a very high affinity being up to ten times more potent than testosterone. Your DHT hormones can be balanced which medication, these medications will resurrect your hair follicles bringing them out of their resting phase and your hair will begin to grow again. The most popular hair loss medication is Propecia, Propecia can be bought through the online pharmacy I will link to at the bottom of this article. An inbalance of DHT triggers and autoimmune response in pattern loss, which initiates an attack on your hair follices. Gradually your hair follices will become inflammed putting your hair in a resting phase which causes hair to only fall out not grow.

Half of the men and women in just the U.S. suffer from hair loss. The good news is hair loss is no longer something you have to live with. There are many treatments out there, some will correct the inbalance of DHT in your body to allow you to grow your own hair again, some simply need patience or counseling, and of course you can turn to expensive hair transplant surgery. But why get to this point, just know the three factors that cause hair loss and your chances of having a full head of hair, go way up!

The Top 10 Ways to Lower Your Health Care Costs

The Top 10 Ways to Lower Your Health Care Costs

If your medical expenses are increasing, youll want to know how to lower them and keep them low. Here are 10 easy ways to reduce your health care costs.

1. Maintain a health lifestyle it sounds basic, but it really works. If you take advantage of available wellness programs, maintain a healthy weight, exercise regularly, stop smoking, and have regular checkups, you can greatly reduce your medical expenses.

2. Take advantage of free health screenings if your health insurance doesn’t provide adequate health screenings, or if you don’t have any health insurance coverage at all, look into free health screenings. Local clinics and hospitals often provide a variety of screenings, such as blood pressure, cholesterol, and mammograms.

3. Compare your health insurance options youll need to get your own coverage if you dont have employer-sponsored health insurance. Shop around. Because premiums vary widely, you’ll probably save money if you get quotes from several companies. Evaluate each plan’s coverage and features, taking into account exclusions, limitations, and the freedom to choose health-care providers. Also find out how much you’ll end up paying out of pocket in the form of co-payments, coinsurance, and deductibles, because even relatively small amounts of money can really add up if you make frequent visits to your doctor.

4. Reduce the costs of your prescription drugs if you take prescription drugs regularly, you know they can eat up a large portion of your budget. To save money, order your prescriptions though the mail by using a traditional or online pharmacy. If you belong to a prescription drug plan through your health insurance plan, you may be able to get a three-month supply of your prescription drug through the mail for the same price you would pay for a one-month supply at your neighborhood pharmacy. You can also ask your pharmacist or doctor to recommend a less-expensive generic drug whenever possible.

5. Always check your medical bills for errors taking a few minutes to go over the charges can save you money in the long run. Check to make sure that the bill accurately reflects the procedures you have undergone and takes into account any applicable insurance coverage you may have. Some errors, such as wrong computer codes, are common, and you may be billed for health care you never received. Contact the appropriate billing office if you think you’ve found a mistake. If you’ve received an explanation of benefits from your insurance company that you believe is wrong, ask the company to review your claim.

6. Keep track of your medical expenses at tax time, you may be able to deduct certain medical expenses if you itemize, and your total medical expenses exceed 7.5 percent of your adjusted gross income. Allowable medical expenses include everything from health-care services to medical aids such as eyeglasses and hearing aids. Keep track of these expenses during the year.

7. Consider joining your spouse’s health plan review both your coverage and your spouse’s coverage to see if it makes sense for either of you to join the other’s plan. Keep in mind that most plans allow you to add a spouse to your plan within a certain time period after you get married. Otherwise, you may have to wait for the plans’ annual open enrollment period.

8. Negotiate a discount with your healthcare provider you can sometimes negotiate to lower your medical bills. While it may not always work, it doesn’t hurt to ask your doctor, hospital, or pharmacy if they’re willing to come down in price. Before you begin to negotiate, do a little research to find out what other healthcare providers in your area are charging. You can also ask your healthcare provider if they’ll lower their price if you pay in cash up front.

9. Contribute to a flexible spending account check to see if your employer offers a flexible spending plan that will allow you to put pretax dollars in an account. If so, consider participating. You will be reimbursed for your out-of-pocket medical expenses, such as prescription drugs, dental care, and co-payments. Because flexible spending contributions are taken out of your pay before federal and state taxes are calculated, you get to use pretax dollars to pay your medical bills.

10. Understand your health insurance benefits your health insurance may cover more than you think. Many insurance companies now provide services that are designed to help you stay safe and healthy. For example, you may receive discounts on vitamins, alternative medicines, health club memberships, or bike helmets. You may also be surprised at the range of coverage your health plan offers. For instance, it may cover dental care for young children, chiropractic care, and acupuncture. Read your plan membership materials to find out what products and services are available through your health plan before you pay for them on your own.

Staying healthy is the best way to reduce your health care costs. Getting a quality health insurance policy and understanding its benefits will also go a long way to keeping your medical bills as low as possible.

The Miraculous Healing Powers of Honey

1:40 pm by admin. Filed under: Pharmacy Jobs

The researchers enrolled 105 children, between ages 2 and 18, in their randomized, partially double-blind study. On the first night of the study, the children received no treatment. Parents then answered questions about their childrens sleep and cough, as well as the quality of their own sleep. The second night, the children were given either honey-flavored cough syrup or honey or nothing at all. Parents then reanswered the questions in the survey. Parents whose children received the honey rated their kids sleep and symptoms as better and their own sleep as improved as well.

Darker honeys have more antioxidants than lighter honeys, and we wanted the best chance to see improvements, he says, noting that lighter honeys would probably also benefit kids. At least locally [buckwheat honey] is available. I can get it here at the local supermarket says lead study author Dr. Ian Paul, a researcher at Penn State College of Medicine.

Some of the kids who took honey did experience side effects, according to the study. The parents reported slightly more hyperactivity when their kids took honey, compared with when they took cough syrup.

But its also interesting to note that this is not the first time the sweet stuff has beenlooked to as a remedy. Honey has been used since the time of the ancient Greeks and Egyptians to treat everything from wounds to insect bites. This usefulness can perhaps be attributed to the idea that an enzyme that bees add to the nectar produces hydrogen peroxide, an antibacterial agent.

I believe that recommending honey as a cough medicine has merits. It provides a safe option to using chemical based options, says Paul Doering, co-director of the Drug Information and Pharmacy Resource Center at the University of Florida., adding that honey is part of a trend of recommending more commonplace traditional remedies for ailments.

The Media Attempt to Stop Canadian Pharmacy Services

7:41 am by admin. Filed under: Pharmacy Jobs

Are U.S. pharmaceutical companies against your freedom of choice regarding a Canadian pharmacy that can save you money? Fact is, they have spent millions of dollars trying to end your right to obtain medication from Canadian pharmacy online services.

When you see pharmaceutical advertisements, the cost of that advertising is coming right out of your pocket when you buy your prescriptions in the U.S. They complain about research and development expenses, then turn around and spend millions in negative advertising trying to discredit Canadian pharmacy services.

Domestic Pharmaceutical Financial Reports

The large profit margins reported to shareholders of U.S. pharmaceutical companies, as well as the large advertising and marketing budgets, clearly show that those drug companies could reduce prices without sacrificing research and development. They spend fortunes on marketing schemes to urge the consumer to ask for specific costly medications. That type of advertising is not seen in Canada.

As much as three-fourths of all the drug companies’ budgets are spent in advertising and marketing. A great deal of research and development is publicly funded. So it’s no wonder more people are turning to Canadian pharmacy online services rather than paying high domestic prices.

Recent News

The American Daily reported on December 16, 2004 that “According to the Center for Responsive Politics, the drug industry paid out more than $25 million in 1999-2000 to U.S. congressional candidates.” Do you think those dollars were spent in an attempt to get congress to ban lower-cost Canadian pharmacy online services from shipping to U.S. consumers?

The L.A. Times, on August 4, 2004 published “Pharmaceutical and biotech companies have spent in excess of $1 million lobbying against numerous bills in the Legislature that would favorably affect the way Californians get their prescriptions filled.” (Eg: From a Canadian pharmacy online.)

Further, the New York Times reported on October 12, 2004 that “Astra Zeneca spent nearly $260 million on television and other mass-media advertising aimed at Nexium users last year. Is that why Nexium (or any advertised medication for that matter) is so expensive? That exact same medication is at least 30% less from a Canadian pharmacy!

Do They Have Your Best Interests at Heart?

Are the pharmaceutical giants really trying to discredit Canada pharmacy services and force legislation to halt medication shipments to U.S. consumers, making the U.S. consumer pay more for EXACTLY the same medicine? Thats for you to decide.

Defend your right to obtain prescription medication from a Canadian pharmacy online service by selecting carefully who you vote for in the next election. Don’t fall for expensive advertising, designed to urge you to buy medication you may not need at all.

Properly prescribed pharmaceuticals can save your life, but it can also drive you into the poor house if your purchases are influenced by advertising.

A reputable Canada pharmacy can save you 30% 50% or more depending on the specific medication, and where you buy your prescriptions from. Its worth your time to investigate. The best place to start is by getting a price quote to give you an idea of the possibilities.

Seniors Pay High Price for Gap in Benefits Coverage

2:50 pm by admin. Filed under: Pharmacy Jobs

Since the Medicare Part D drug benefit was unveiled, it has proven to be even more confusing and inefficient than its critics predicted. Even seniors who have been able to register for the program must still struggle with a $3,000 gap in benefits coverage and a hefty monthly premium.

Already the government has had to change the program: The Centers for Medicaid and Medicare Services reversed an earlier decision prohibiting new Medicare prescription drug plan recipients from participating in free or subsidized drug programs sponsored by pharmaceutical manufacturers.

But we can’t stop there. The reversal fails to count the full value of these prescriptions toward seniors’ $3,000 obligation, an expense that could put many in the poorhouse.

The Bush administration claims that its new benefit is a good deal for people who are not eligible for Medicaid. Yet most individuals will pay not only a $250 deductible, but also 25 percent co-insurance on the next $2,000 in covered drug costs. And add roughly $32 a month per person for a monthly premium.

In addition, the new Medicare plan requires each senior to cover 100 percent of the costs over $2,000 until catastrophic coverage kicks in at $5,100.

We can and must close the holes that may ruin seniors’ fiscal health as they try to preserve their physical health.

Private companies are already taking action. A group of pharmaceutical companies announced a plan called “Bridge Rx,” which will help seniors trapped in the $3,000 hole afford their medications. Seniors will get drug discounts of at least 50 percent in exchange for a 15 percent co-pay.

Washington should also act by letting those who qualify for subsidized pharmaceutical manufacturer programs like Bridge Rx – but who concurrently pay a monthly Part D premium – count the full value of their medications’ formulary price toward the $3,000 gap.

The purpose of the Medicare prescription drug program was to help seniors, not generate revenue for insurers and pharmacy benefit managers. It’s time to deliver on the promises that were made.

RX for Success: A Pharmacy Career

2:28 am by admin. Filed under: Pharmacy Jobs

What would happen if no pharmacists were available to fill your prescription at the local drugstore, or to recognize medication errors in the emergency room?

That could be reality if America doesn’t train another 150,000 pharmacists by 2020.

According to the U.S. Department of Labor, 7,000 to 10,000 pharmacist positions are left unfilled every year.

Pharmacy graduates can expect a variety of possible career directions as well as four or five job offers. Besides earning a mean annual wage of $77,050, pharmacists can choose from a wide variety of employment settings, from research laboratories to poison control centers to veterinary clinics.

To help teachers encourage students to pursue a career in pharmacy, health and science, the pharmaceutical company Roche created a free teacher’s guide in collaboration with the Parenteral Drug Association Foundation for Pharmaceutical Sciences Inc. and WLIW New York public television.

“Encouraging students who already have an interest in health and science may be key to closing the potential shortage gap of pharmacists,” said Vivian L. Beetle, director of corporate relations and contributions for Roche. “Roche believes that teachers play a positive and vital role in directing students into a career path.”

The guide is designed to help teachers identify students with an interest in science and show them how to engage students in dialogue about career opportunities in pharmacy. It includes profiles of students who have pursued a career in pharmacy, a list of colleges and professional organizations and a student self-assessment tool.

Would your children or students succeed in a pharmacy career? They should consider the following:

* Are they good at math?

* Are they interested in science, especially biology and chemistry?

* Are they detail-oriented and focused?

* Do they care about others and want to make a positive contribution to society?

* Would they be interested in a career that offers the opportunity to work anywhere in the country?

Risks To Avoid When Buying Medications From On-line Pharmacies

4:01 pm by admin. Filed under: Pharmacy Jobs

With the increasing price of prescription medications, many consumers are finding it more difficult to afford the price of prescriptions. Due to this, many such consumers are looking for alternate ways to find affordable medications. One of these avenues are purchasing medicines online. While doubtless it is possible to save a good bit of money by purchasing medicines online, consumers should be aware of all the facts; including risks, before buying online.

Risk # 1 – Inferior Quality Medications

One risk related to purchasing medicines online, is the possibility that you may receive medication that is not good quality. Even worse, the medication you receive could possibly be contaminated.

Sometimes, the products that have been marketed on the internet have been eventually discovered to either contain no medicine at all or a different medicine than the name under which it was marketed. In other cases, medication was sold stating that it contained a dosage that it did not. For example, it might have been marketed as a 500 mg dose when in reality, it only contained 100 mg. All these possibilities pose a particular danger if you are reliant on a medication.

Risk # 2 – Interactions With Other Medications

Another danger related to purchasing medications online involves the possibility of obtaining a medication without a prescription. Many medications are regulated by prescription for several very good reasons. First, most medications have properties which may react adversely with other medicines.

If you obtain medication online without a valid prescription and are unaware of the interactions it may have with other medications you are taking or conditions you may have; this may create a serious and life threatening situation.

Risk # 3 – Medications Not Approved by The FDA

Some websites offer to sell medications that have not yet been approved by the FDA. While it can be a lengthy and time consuming process to wait for the FDA to approve a drug, the process is in place with good reason. Taking medications that have not yet been approved by the FDA may expose you to all sorts of health risks.

Risk # 4 – Illegal Foreign Drugs

Sometimes you have no way of knowing if the medications you are buying online are actually coming from foreign countries. It is illegal to import medications into the United States from foreign countries. One reason this is illegal is because medications that have been produced outside the United States have been manufactured without quality assurance guidelines. They may be unsafe and dangerous. By purchasing medications online from a foreign country you may be putting yourself at risk for health issues as well as legal problems.

These warnings are not to say you should never purchase medicines online. Some companies which are perfectly legitimate and provide safe products at a reasonable price. To make sure that you are purchasing from a legitimate company and not a company that is merely trying to run a scam by offering unsafe products, there are a few things you can do.

First, make sure that the online company you are purchasing from is a licensed pharmacy. Check with the National Association of Boards of Pharmacy at their website to find out if the company you are interested in is a member.

Avoid buying from companies that do not appear to be based in the United States and offer to sell you medications without a prescription or to write you a prescription. This is a recipe for disaster.

By taking heed of the pitfalls detailed above, you can purchase medications online with confidence and save on your medication expenses.

Prescriptions or Food

8:12 am by admin. Filed under: Pharmacy Jobs

Prescriptions or Food

Considering the high price of some medications, many people are now considering a Canadian Pharmacy to help cut prescription costs. It is relatively easy to find a Canadian Pharmacy Online, just be aware that a prescription will be required when dealing with a legitimate Canadian Pharmacy.

The High Cost of Medications

It is very sad, but true that today some people are forced to choose between food and medications. Because some of the medications are necessary for these people to remain alive, often the choice is to skip purchasing healthy, high quality food and just get by on minimal diets of beans and rice.

This simply isn’t fair. With so many people having no medical or prescription drug insurance, their medication expenses may exceed their income in some cases. What can be done to help these people who do not qualify for government assistance?

One answer is to shop around for every possible source including mail-order prescription services. Medications from a Canadian Pharmacy are often much less expensive than those sold in the United States, yet they contain exactly the same ingredients.

Compare United States and Canadian Pharmacy Medication Sources

To ensure you are obtaining quality medication from a Canadian Pharmacy online, select a service that requires confirmation from your U.S. doctor and also requires a signature from a Canadian doctor. Companies that advertise “no prescription needed” should be avoided and may even charge high fees for “membership” to their website. A legitimate Canadian Pharmacy online or offline will not ask for a membership fee and will require proper documentation.

Even less expensive medication can be obtained from Asian countries; however, some of those medications have been tested and proven to contain ingredients other than those that are stated on the label or in amounts that are not correct. These types of mail order medication services should be avoided.

Another Means of Controlling Costs

You can purchase medication in larger quantities. This is something you will have to discuss with your doctor, but if he is willing to write a prescription for a three month supply that you can have mail ordered from a Canadian Pharmacy, the price will be lower than ordering a one month supply.

The world as a whole needs to realize that there are people who are having to choose between food or medication. Today, a great way to get quality medication services at a lower cost is often through a reputable Canadian Pharmacy Online. This is also a great way to supplement existing insurance or other price reduction plans. Many people get some of their medications locally and some from a Canadian Pharmacy, whether it’s online or offline.
